About Us
The Conflict, Security and Development Conference is a flagship, student-led event hosted by postgraduate students in the War Studies Department at King’s College London. Now in its 12th year, the conference provides a rigorous interdisciplinary forum for scholars, practitioners, and students to engage with pressing global challenges in the contemporary geopolitical terrain.
Join us in London on the 13th and 14th of April, 2026, for two days of discussion, debate, and exchange that will bridge diverse perspectives from academia, policy, and practice. Through panels, keynote addresses, and dedicated networking opportunities, the Conference creates a space for both emerging and established voices to interrogate contemporary challenges and explore innovative approaches to peace, security, and development in a rapidly changing global context.
